USCIS fees can now be paid using electronic debit from a U.S. bank account. This can be done by submitting Form G-1650, Authorization for ACH Transactions. This form must be filed with the applicant’s petition.

Currently, USCIS fees can be paid using paper checks, money order payments, and credit and debit payments. Individuals will still be able to pay USCIS fees with a credit card using Form G-1450, but paper checks and money order payments will not be accepted after October 28, 2025. After Oct. 28, USCIS will accept only ACH debit transactions using Form G-1650 or credit card payments using Form G-1450.

If you have a U.S. bank account, you can use Form G-1650 to pay USCIS filing fees. If you do not have a U.S. bank account, you may still submit Form G-1450 to pay your filing fees using a prepaid credit card.

Note: if you have insufficient funds in your account to cover your filing fees at the time of the transaction, USCIS may reject your petition if the transaction is denied.
