Trump Administration Extends EB-4 Program Through September 2026

The EB-4 visa category for religious workers was recently extended through September 30, 2026, also called the “sunset date.”

Signed into law on February 3rd, H.R. 7148 allows eligible religious workers to apply for an adjustment of status (if within the United States) or immigrate to the United States (if overseas) until the extension’s deadline.

The deadline applies to non-minister special immigrant religious workers serving either professionally or non-professionally, as well as their dependents. It does not apply to ministers and their dependents.
