Annual Limit Reached in the EB-4 Category

The United States has reached its limit in the EB-4 visa category. The Employment-Based Fourth Preference visa, available to special immigrants, is capped annually at 7.1 percent of the worldwide employment limit. Pursuant to the limit established by the Immigration and Nationality Act (INA) 203(b)(4), the State Department and USCIS have issued all available visas in this category for the 2025 fiscal year. Consulates and embassies will not be able to issue any EB-4 visas until the start of the new fiscal year (FY 2026), which resets on October 1, 2025.

If you have any questions regarding the issuance of EB-4 visas, please contact us and we would be happy to speak with you.
