The United States Citizenship and Immigration Service updated its H-1B cap count on April 22, 2010.  Here are the numbers:

Regular H-1B Cap:  16,025

U.S. Masters H-1B Cap: 6,739

These numbers tell us that employers are filing fewer H-1B applications than in the past few years.  The good news is that employers who want to hire foreign professional workers under the H-1B program  still can.

We will provide additional updates on www.bashyamspiro.com.
