H-1B Cap To Be Reached Soon

The U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Service (USCIS) updated its Fiscal Year 2012 H-1B cap count as of November 2, 2011. Here are the most recent cap numbers: 1) Regular H-1B Cap: 50,800 and 2) U.S. Masters H-1B Cap: 20,000.  The regular H-1B cap is set at 65,000 and the Advanced Degree cap is set at 20,000.

Here are the most recent cap numbers: 1) Regular H-1B Cap: 50,800 and 2) U.S. Masters H-1B Cap: 20,000.  The regular H-1B cap is set at 65,000 and the Advanced Degree cap is set at 20,000.

Approximately 5,600 regular H-1B cap cases were filed between October 21 and November 2.  At this rate, we expect the H-1B cap to be exhausted by the end of November or early December.
