The U.S. Department of State (DOS) released its August 2009 Visa Bulletin. There was no change in the employment-based three (EB3) category which remains ‘unavailable’. However, the good news is that the employment-based two (EB2) category moved forward by almost 3 years for nationals of India and China. We will continue to monitor the Visa Bulletin in the coming months as potential retrogression in even the employment-based one (EB1) category is possible for Indian and Chinese nationals.
