The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) posted a Federal Register notice this morning on the termination of Venezuela’s 2021 Temporary Protected Status (TPS). The designation, set to expire on September 10, will officially terminate on November 7, 2025, pursuant to the 60-day notice requirement.
Beneficiaries of Venezuela’s 2021 TPS designation who do not have other lawful basis for remaining in the United States will lose their status at 11:59pm on November 7 and are instructed by DHS to prepare to return to Venezuela.
