DOS posted the October 2023 visa bulletin. In addition to final action dates and dates for filing, it contains notes on the scheduled expiration for EB-4, employment-based visa availability for FY024.
There was forward movement in the employment-based categories, but not as much as some expected. There were rumors that EB-1 India would jump to 2022 or even become ‘current,’ but that didn’t happen. Let’s see what happens in November.
In addition, USCIS determined that for October 2023, applicants in all family-sponsored preference categories and all employment-based preference categories must use the Dates for Filing chart.
