USCIS has received sufficient electronic registrations for the (FY)2026 H-1B cap, including the master’s cap. Beneficiaries have been selected randomly from the pool of properly submitted registrations, and all petitioners of selected beneficiaries have been notified of the beneficiary’s eligibility to file an H-1B cap-subject petition.
Valid H-1B cap-subject petitions can be filed starting April 1, 2025. They must be filed accurately either online or at the appropriate filing location, which can be found on the USCIS website. Those filing H-1B cap-subject petitions will have at least 90 days to do so.
Petitioners are required to submit copies of the selection notice, copies of the passport used for the beneficiary’s registration, and provide additional evidence to demonstrate the beneficiary’s eligibility for H-1B cap-subject petition filing.
For more information, visit the USCIS website or contact us and we would be happy to speak with you.
