USCIS announced on May 4, 2015, that it has completed data entry of all fiscal year 2016 H-1B cap-subject petitions selected in the computer-generated random process. USCIS will now begin returning all H-1B cap- subject petitions that were not selected. They will issue an announcement once all the petitions have been returned.

From what we’ve seen, USCIS has emailed all premium processing receipt notices to employers and/or their attorneys, and our office is rapidly receving approvals on these cases on a daily basis. In addition, we have received a large number of receipt notices for H-1B cases filed under regular processing. Although it’s still possible that we will receive additional notices in the next few days, we believe the USCIS has sent out most of the H-1B cap subject receipt notices by now.
