The Mexico F-2A category retrogressed from September 1, 2013 to April 15, 2012 due to continued heavy demand. There was small forward movement in the employment-based second and third categories.  However, the Employment-Based Category Two (EB-2) India is still backlogged to 2004.  The Visa Bulletin also includes projected visa availability for the coming months for both family and employment-based categories.

Visa availability and cutoff dates are determined on a monthly basis by DOS based on anticipated demand. These dates can move forward, backward or remain unchanged. Employers and employees should monitor the monthly Visa Bulletins so they can properly plan their immigration cases.
