The US State Department has announced that all EB-2 immigrant visas allocated to Indian nationals have been issued for the fiscal year FY 2026.
Employment-based immigrant visas are subject to an annual limit. Once the annual limit has been reached, no additional EB-2 visas may be issued until the next fiscal year. As such, US embassies and consulates will resume issuing EB-2 visas to qualified Indian national applicants on October 1, 2026 – the start of the new fiscal year.
