Sandra is part of the administrative team at Bashyam Global LLP. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science with a minor in Psychology at North Carolina State University.
Sandra was born in Dallas, Texas but her family moved to the Raleigh area when she was two years old to be closer to her extended family. Her family originally immigrated from San Luis Potosi, Mexico to the US to give their children better opportunities to excel in life. Sandra used that as her inspiration to pursue a degree in Political Science to learn about how policy and reform is done in the US political system. As a first-generation child of migrants with siblings who benefit from DACA (Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals), Sandra is not a stranger to the struggles people face while attempting to achieve legal immigration status. Having observed loved ones go through these challenges, Sandra was motivated to be part of a system that assists those who feel helpless while navigating through the US immigration system.
As an administrative assistant, Sandra has loved learning the ins and outs of the immigration system, and most importantly, she has enjoyed connecting with the clientele and advocating on their behalf daily. She has also appreciated connecting with her peers and seeing their passion to help people every day has inspired to do her best to help as well.
In her free time, she loves traveling around the country and attending concerts. You can typically find her planning her next trip to a new city or state to see one of her favorite musical artists. At home you’ll usually find her spending her time with family, starting a new craft project, trying out different recipes, or beginning a new video game.
